- CNC Cylindrical Grinders for between centers and chucking operations. 3/4 CNC axes.Swivel Twin wheelhead. 3-in-1 design: Plunge-Angular-ID.
- Heavily ribbed box-type base made in Meehanite casting. Optimum distance between the guideways offers excellent table support to increase Z axis positioning accuracy and repeatability.
- Rigid-designed workhead with precision bearings and variable spindle speeds.
- Strong casting tailstock is designed to mount MT3/MT4 or optional MT5. Optional hydraulic tailstock with pedal is available.
- The wheelhead runs on double V guideways hand scraped with Turcite coating by a AC FANUC servo motor,0.001linear feedback and precision ballscrew.
- Wheel Spindle with a combination of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings surrounded by a high pressure oil film eliminates metal to metal contact.
- Box type rigid work table travelling on a cushion of oil. The table is fully supported in the full travel avoiding overhang. Z-axis positioning accuracy is assured with an AC FANUC servo motor and high precision ball screws.
- The machines can be customized with a wide selection of systems for automation as electronic probe, automatic OD sizing, dynamic wheel balancing, etc.
- FANUC control with programs for standard applications.
